Every TM SIM card comes with a PUK code — an 8-digit Personal Unblocking Key assigned by Globe Telecom when the SIM is manufactured. This code is unique to your SIM. No two TM SIMs share the same PUK, and there is no universal code. You find it on the original SIM packaging, or retrieve it through official TM channels if the pack is gone.

When your TM SIM gets locked after too many wrong PIN attempts, the PUK code is the only way to restore it without replacing the SIM entirely.

What Is a TM PUK Code?

Every TM SIM has two security layers: a PIN (a 4-digit code you set that locks the SIM) and a PUK (an 8-digit code from TM/Globe that unlocks it). The PIN locks; the PUK unlocks.

You get 10 attempts with the PUK code. Enter it wrong 10 times and the SIM is permanently deactivated — the only fix after that is a full SIM replacement. Never guess.

Why Your TM SIM Gets Locked

By default, TM SIMs do not come with PIN protection turned on. But if someone switched it on and the PIN is forgotten, three wrong entries lock the SIM fast.
